Islamabad Crackdown: District Administration Seals 3 Illegal Shisha Cafes, Orders FIRs 

Bahria Town Islamabad Special Report: In a decisive move to curb substance abuse and enforce local regulations, the Islamabad District Administration has launched an indiscriminate crackdown on illegal indoor shisha cafes operating across the federal capital.

 

According to official details, Assistant Commissioner (Rural) Fahad Cheema spearheaded an unexpected targeted raid in Civic Center, leading to the immediate sealing of three illegal indoor shisha establishments operating in violation of civic regulations.

 

Following the operation, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad issued strict directives to all zonal Assistant Commissioners to ensure a total zero-tolerance policy in their respective jurisdictions. The DC mandated immediate registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) and legal prosecution against cafe owners violating the law.

 

Spokespersons for the district administration reiterated that the crackdown will continue indiscriminately across the capital without pressure or exception. The authorities also appealed to residents and parents to report any illicit indoor shisha setups operating in their neighborhoods to help maintain a healthy, drug-free environment for the youth.
