Bahria Town wore a festive and spiritual look this Sunday as residents came together to celebrate  Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with deep reverence, love, and unity. Streets Bathed in Light and Devotion

 Bahria Town was aglow with decorative lights, green flags, and beautifully arranged buntings. Major boulevards shimmered with illumination, while homes and mosques sparkled with colorful displays, creating an atmosphere of joy and reverence. Banners bearing Quranic verses and messages of peace were displayed throughout the community, reminding everyone of the universal message of Islam.

Procession and Mehfil-e-Milad

One of the highlights of the day was a grand procession that began from Bahria Town’s central mosque. The air was filled with the soulful recitation of  naats  and darood-o-salaam**, while residents of all ages joined in, carrying flags and chanting praises of the Prophet (PBUH).

In the evening, special  Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings were held at community centers and homes. Scholars delivered inspiring speeches on the life and character of the Prophet (PBUH), urging everyone to embody values of compassion, honesty, and service. Children also played their part by reciting naats with innocence and devotion, adding a special charm to the occasion.

 Acts of Kindness and Community Spirit

True to the spirit of the day, residents and volunteers set up **Sabeel stalls** and food points across different sectors, offering sweet drinks and meals to participants. Families opened their doors to guests, extending warm hospitality in celebration of the blessed day.

The Bahria Town administration also ensured smooth arrangements for the processions and events, providing security, traffic management, and support for organizers.

 A Day of Reflection and Renewal

For many residents, Eid Milad-un-Nabi was not just a day of festivity but also a moment of reflection. “This day reminds us of the Prophet’s (PBUH) timeless teachings  love for humanity, respect for others, and living with integrity,” shared a participant at the Mehfil-e-Milad.

The celebrations concluded with heartfelt prayers for the progress of Pakistan, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and peace for the entire world.
