Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College observed World Education Day with great enthusiasm and dignity, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and nation-building through education. The event was graced by Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Upon her arrival, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar was warmly received by Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, S.I. (M), Principal of the institution, along with senior faculty members. The Principal briefed the Chief Guest on the institution’s academic vision, notable achievements, and the challenges faced in delivering inclusive, equitable, and quality education in line with national priorities.Addressing principals, teachers, and a large gathering of students, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar highlighted the central role of education in national development, describing students as the country’s most valuable asset and future leadership. She emphasized that education is not merely a tool for personal growth but a cornerstone for social progress, economic stability, and national strength.
She reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to education as a fundamental right, and assured continued efforts by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to strengthen collaboration with educational institutions and stakeholders. She stressed the importance of policy support, innovation, and partnerships to ensure equal access to quality education for all segments of society.
